Donald Haskins passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2026, surrounded by
loved ones.

Donald was born on February 15, 1935 in Corning Arkansas, to Ruby Lois and Donald
Haskins. He married Mary Donalda “Donna” (nee Holland) on July 19, 1957, and
together they shared a lifetime of love and faith.

Donald was the devoted father of Dale Haskins and Devona (Chris) Conger, and the
proud grandfather of Emily, Evan, and Erica Conger, and Erin (Matt) Reid. He was a
loving great-grandfather to Gwyneth Scallions and Theodore Reid, all of St. Louis.
Donald is preceded in death by his loving wife, parents, sisters Christine Poyner & Pam
Harlow, and brothers Delmer & David Hedge.

Donald was a loving and caring father, husband and grandfather. He loved fishing,
gardening, building birdhouses, playing cards, dominoes and spending time with his
grandchildren. He was loved and respected by all who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Overland Church of
Christ. 8875 Lackland Road, Overland, MO 63114.

Visitation at 2:30pm followed by the Service at 3:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites those wishing to honor Donald to make a donation to
the Wolfner Talking Book and Braille Library. A service greatly appreciated by Donald
