Donald Russell Meier was born on November 26, 1941, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Russell Meier and Crystal Kirkpatrick Meier. As the oldest son in the family, Donald was known throughout his life for his warm heart, kind spirit, and friendly nature.

On June 19, 2026, Don peacefully departed this life to be reunited with his beloved wife, Shirley, whom he cherished deeply.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Julie Breeding (preceded in death by her husband, Roger Breeding) and Jodi Meier, as well as his faithful and beloved dog, Paco.

Donald was a devoted father, brother, and uncle whose kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for making friends wherever he went. His warmth, generosity, and genuine compassion will be deeply missed by his family and the many friends whose lives he touched.
