Doris Elizabeth Norton Ekstrum, born September 29, 1912, in Minneapolis, MN, passed on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Laclede Groves Convalescent Center, Webster Groves, MO. She was preceded in death by five siblings, and by her husband, the late Bertil W. Ekstrum, Sr. She is survived by three children, B. William Ekstrum, Jr. , Margaret Ekstrum Rowe, and Elizabeth Ekstrum Davis, by two foster children, M. Azher Khan and Toshiko Sasaki, by twelve grandchildren, and by twenty great grandchildren. She will be privately interred; a memorial service will be held at a later date.
