Dorothy Pyne (Dietrich), aged 94, passed into eternal rest on January 24, 2024, in Saint Louis, Missouri. Born on January 20, 1930, Dorothy lived a life marked by her unwavering strength, deep love for her family, and active engagement with her community.

Dorothy leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, cherished by her son Herbert S. Pyne (Judy), daughter Elizabeth Bruns (Dan), as well as her five beloved grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was greeted in the hereafter by her son John Pyne and her devoted husband, Herbert J. Pyne.

She was a faithful member to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she found fellowship and purpose. Dorothy’s pastimes included the intricate arts of crochet and embroidery, day trips, flowers, cooking, puzzles, and the shared excitement of bingo games.

Her life will be honored during a Celebration of Life open house to be held at Sunset Hills Community Center – 3915 S. Lindbergh Blvd St. Louis, MO 63127 on February 9th, 2024 from 3-5pm.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Saint Louis Cremation. Dorothy’s presence will be profoundly missed, and her memory will forever be a source of joy and inspiration to all who knew her.
