Stengel, Dorothy M. (nee Kusky)
90, passed away peacefully Jan. 27, 2017.
Born May 7, 1926 in St Louis, MO to the late Vincent and Elsie Kusky (Stanski). She is survived by her children Kermit (Donna) Stengel, Kenneth (Wendy) Stengel, Thomas (Kathy) Stengel and Dorothy (Mark) Kluempers. Dear grandmother of seven, great-grandmother of 14, beloved sister of Carolyn Smith and Patricia Kusky, a dear aunt and “Nannie” to everyone who knew her. Was an avid St Louis Cardinals fan and loved to garden. In her younger years she played the accordion and had a lifelong love of polka music. Most of all she loved her family and she was the glue that held it together. She will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held 4:30 p.m., Sat., Feb., 4 at St Louis Cremation, 320 Jungermann Rd, St Peters, MO 63376.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer’s Association appreciated.
