Earline Buettenback
Earline M Buettenback, nee Meiborg, 75, of Crestwood, MO passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 surrounded by family at her home. Earline battled cancer valiantly for the last 7 ½ years, she remained strong in her faith knowing she would be at peace.
Funeral services for Earline will be held on Wednesday, October 14 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary, in Crestwood, MO. Earline’s family will be present from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. to greet family and friends in the church entrance.
Earline Marie (Wilson) Buettenback was born on December 12, 1939 in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, the daughter of Marie and Earl Wilson, granddaughter of Jules and Stella Valle Bourque, sister to Ken Wilson. She was raised in Ste. Genevieve, MO and attended Valle Catholic High School. Earline was married to John R (Jack) Meiborg on January 17, 1959. Earline and Jack celebrated 25 years of marriage before Jack passed away in 1984. They had 3 children John R (Sean) Meiborg, Tracy Deck and Michelle R Wilhelm. Earline met the love of her late life, Bob Buettenback, in Julesburg, CO where they married on November 24, 1989. They celebrated 25 years of marriage and resided in Julesburg Colorado for 22 years prior to moving to St. Louis to be close to her children and their grandchildren.
Earline was a strong willed, kind hearted, compassionate, thoughtful woman that always took interest in the lives of others around her and tried to do whatever she could to make their world a better place. She gladly gave her time to the organizations that influenced her children: Kirkwood Junior Football League, Girl Scouts of America, PTO to name a few. After retiring from KN Energy, Earline and Bob volunteered for the Colorado Welcome Center where they greeted thousands of visitors to the state they called home. Together they enjoyed gardening, traveling, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
Earline was proud to be the Mother of 3 and Grandmother to 8. She is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob) Buettenback, her children: Sean (Lana) Meiborg of St. Louis, MO, Tracy (Tony)

We are so sorry to hear of Earline’s passing. We got to know her when we stopped in Julesburg to see Bob. What a great woman. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family in your time of need.
Will miss you Earline, you were so strong during the horrendous battle against the cancer. Your faith really kept you going. We will be there for Uncle Bob. Please say hi to my folks, as they are there waiting to great you.
Marty and I are sending our condolences to Earlines` husband Bob, her children, and the rest of her family and friends. We have missed them since moving away and will miss Earline from our lives now and in the future.
