Edgar Erwin Knackstedt Jr. April 20, 1928 – September 9, 2013
Edgar is survived by his loving wife and soul mate Jackie (nee Wentworth), son Greg (Susan) Knackstedt, daughter Linda (Rick) Stewart, grandson Jon (Chrissie) Stewart, granddaughter Kristin McConnell, grandson Michael Knackstedt, great grandsons Landen and Hayden McConnell and Sam and Ben Stewart, sister Carole (Will) Militzer, sister-in-law Barb Wentworth, nieces and nephews Dana, Renee, Debra, Kathy, Mike, David and Eric and their families, cousins by the dozens, and many friends.
A memorial service will be held September 14, 11:00, at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, 5275 S. Lindbergh Blvd.
Donations may be made to the de Greeff Hospice House, 10024 Kennerly Road, St. Louis, MO 63128. We couldn’t have asked for more loving and compassionate care than they provided for Ed and his family.
