Edna Elizabeth Schmidt (nee DeClue) passed away on June 8, 2019 at the age of 89. Born October 1, 1929 in Old Mines Mo. She went on to become a jewelry specialist then department manager at Sam’s Club and worked there for 30+ years. Edna is preceded in death by her daughter Shelly Harper and leaves behind 4 sons Randy, Rick, Rodney and Marty. She also leaves behind a son-in-law Curt Harper and 3 daughters-in-law all named Linda. Edna also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law and cousins whom she was proud to call family.

A memorial service will be held on Friday September 13 at Assumption of the Blessed Mary Church on Main St. in O’Fallon MO. Visitation at

9:30am with a Funeral Mass at 10:30am.
