Edna M. Hardrict passed away peacefully on January 12th 2026 at the age of 91. She
was born in Cleveland, Mississippi on June 26th, 1934.

She was preceded in death by her parents, LuCreasy Sudduth Hardrict and William
Preston Hardrict. Siblings who preceded her in death – Lee Etta Young, Beethrus Whitley, James Hardrict and Ernest Hardrict.

She is lovingly remembered and survived by:
Son – Daryl J. Hardrict
Granddaughter – Dara Hardrict
Great Granddaughter – Aiden Fields
Great Grandson – Isaiah Fields
Sister – Jewel Barnett
And a host of loving Nieces & Nephews

She was a retired Civil Servant, having been employed by the United States Department of Defense-Army as an Administrator for over 32 years. She was retired with distinction for her service.

Edna loved to bake and was especially known for her Carrot and German Chocolate
cakes. She was also an avid DIY’er (Do It Yourself) and loved to create and design
things for her lovely home.

She will be remembered as a single mom having always done her best in providing for
her son and grand-daughter as they grew up. She always helped others whenever she
could and was a trusting, caring friend.

A beautiful woman who enjoyed her independent living until she was over 90!
