Edward “Eddie” Bartner Jr. passed away suddenly at Mercy Hospital Springfield on November 6, 2019, at the age of 54. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on December 18, 1964.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Edward Bartner Sr.; his mother, Phyllis Bartner (Kapper); his brother, Danny; and his fiance’, Barbara Miller. He will be missed by daughter Allyson Bartner, step-daughter Hannah McKinney. He was a loving brother to Janice (Mark) Lawler; James (Christine) Bartner; Kevin (Emily) Bartner; and Steven Bartner. He was a beloved Uncle to Melissa (Dustin), Nathan (Penny) Amber (Cameron), Sarah, Meghan, Michael, Isabella, AJ, Kyla, Tayler, Jayden, Ryleigh, Bradley, Brody, Arabella, and Jack.

He will be remembered by close friends Robert Cruz, Dan, John, and Jenny. Eddie will be remembered for the way he enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial service to be determined. In lieu of flowers please donate in memory of Eddie to American Heart Association or St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
