Edward T. Wright Sr., of Florissant, MO with much sadness passed on Friday 9/7/18 at the blessed age of 89. Beloved husband of Shirley J. Wright, Cherished son of the late Erasmus T. Wright and Mabel H. Wright-Northcutt of St. Louis, MO. Preceded in death by 3 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 children Barbara Y Richardson of St. Louis and Edward T. Wright Jr. of Florissant, MO and 2 grandchildren Scott Richardson of St. Louis and Jimmy Charles Gremard. Treasured father of surviving children; Linda Gremard, Tammy Hopen, Mary Bosworth, and Timothy Hopen. Greatly loved grandfather, great grandfather, and great great grandfather. Loved uncle and friend to many. Ed was a member of the Masons for over 50 years and served 35 years with the St. Louis Chapter of the Shriners including his time riding with the Motor Patrol for events to benefit the Shriners Children’s Hospital. He has lived a wonderfully fulfilled life and has been greatly loved through it all, he will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him. Rest in peace, Ed Wright – The greatest husband, father, grandfather, there ever was! We love and miss you.
