Eileen Louise Mastis (Boemeke) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday September 17, 2024, at the age of 84. She was born in St. Louis, MO on September 13, 1940. Eileen is predeceased by her father Carl; mother Edna; and her brother Dale.

Eileen is survived by her husband of 45 years Carl Mastis. Loving mother of Missy (Dave) Gleason; adored “GaGa” to Ruby and Eliza; beloved aunt of Mike (Bonnie) Boemeke, Jen (John) Novak, Bill (Nancy) LaGrotta, Rick (Eileen) LaGrotta, Gerry (Vicki) LaGrotta and Barb LaGrotta. Great-aunt and friend to many.

In her 20’s, Eileen enjoyed traveling the country with her dear friend Pat. She worked 22 years at the Manufacturers Bank, where she met her best friend Kathleen, before retiring to start a family. When her daughter was in school, she spent many hours volunteering at Assumption. Ei, along with the help of her husband CoCo babysat several nieces, nephews, and friends’ kids, along with both grand daughters. It brought her much joy and kept her young at heart.

There will be a Memorial Service on September 27, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Assumption-Mattese Parish 4725 Mastis Road.
