Elinor M. Abmeyer (nee Sellenriek) of Chesterfield, MO, passed peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2014, at the age of 96.

Loving wife of the late Norton Abmeyer; loving mother to Mary (Robert) Meyers and the late Carol (Arthur) Stoehr; loving grandmother to Matt Meyers, Dan (Gina) Meyers, Amy (Patrick) Weaver, Jon (Michelle) Meyers, Stacy Stoehr, and Jenny (Chuck) Austin; loving great grandmother; dear sister to Leslie Sellenriek and the late Carl Sellenriek; dear aunt, cousin, and friend. She became known to many as the lady who sold vegetables at her produce stand on White Road.

Memorial service will be on Friday, March 14 at 11:00 a.m., at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 15370 Olive Blvd., Chesterfield, MO 63017. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
