Elizabeth Koudelka

Elizabeth Koudelka, affectionately known as “Ate Beth” to the Balingit family, was born on December 31st, 1945 in Manila, Philippenes to Peter and Primitiva Balingit. In Manila, she met her future husband Albert, who was stationed there during his service with the U.S. Air Force. After they married, the moved back to the United States and began their family. They were married for almost 50 happy years.

Elizabeth really enjoyed taking care of her family and the home, with special attention paid to her husband Albert. She was happiest spending time with her loved ones and doing all those special little things that showed how much she cared. She also had two dogs, Buster and Buddy, whom she loved dearly. Her loving presence and her tender attentions will be missed so very much.

Elizabeth leaves behind her loving husband Albert and her beloved daughter Liza Ledesma (Scott). She was “Grandma Gigi” to Tyler and Monica Ledesma. She also had many brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her.

A visitation will be held for her on Friday, August 7th, 2015 at the Chapel of St. Louis Cremation, 2135 Chouteau Avenue, St. Louis MO 63103 from noon to 2:00 p.m.
