(nee Fehlig), loving wife and mother, died on Thursday September 28, 2017 at home in Maryland Heights, MO. She was 77 and succumbed to her many long and short physical ailments. She earned a degree in dietetics from Fontbonne College in St. Louis. From there she received an internship from Saint Louis University in St. Louis. She started working as a Registered Dietician in the Department of Dietetics at St. Mary’s Health Center on Clayton Road in St. Louis. She worked for many dedicated years before she became the lead dietician. She was forced to retire early because of a back operation. Jean is survived by her adult son Joseph (daughter Mary deceased at birth). Daughter of the late Earl and Mary Fehlig, loving sister to Maryann and Kathy, aunt, cousin and great long time friend of Carol Malone (nee Longmeyer) and Sister Evelyn Steinman and many more.

Services: A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, November 3, 2017. Memorial Visitation at 10:30am with Memorial Mass at 11am at Holy Spirit Parish, 3130 Parkwood Lane, Maryland Heights, MO 63043.
