Evelyn Sciarratta
Evelyn Sciarratta (nee Genteman) of St. Charles, MO passed September 19, 2017. She was an amazing wife for nearly 52 years to the love of her life, and her soul mate, Joe, whom God called home 6 years ago. She was the most devoted mother, who will forever be missed by her children: Tony (Tina), Cindy (Marvin), baby Denise (deceased), Nick (Shawna), Nico, and Zachary (Jennifer). Evelyn also had endless amounts of love for her 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, along with baby Lilly (deceased).
Evelyn was a dear sister to Clemens (Judy) Genteman, Mary Ann (Jerry) Childress, JoAnn Troutman (deceased), Harriett (Richard) Pohrer, and Kevin (Kathy) Genteman, and Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Flora Mary (Hilke) and Clemens Genteman, Sr.
Evelyn enjoyed reading, trying her luck at the casino, and watching an array of movies. In her free time, she also enjoyed writing poetry and maintaining her beautiful yard for all the years they lived in Hazelwood. One of her most notable and remarkable accomplishments was when her lifelong dream became a reality–Evelyn is a published author of a trilogy of novels entitled Rest in Peace, which she poured her heart and soul into. She told stories, even daily happenings, with an unmatchable flair. We will all miss her thoughtfulness, honesty, loving compassion, straight-forward advice, and fierce support. Her family was always her first priority and anyone who knew her knew this without a doubt. Despite her large number of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Evelyn loved every single one of them individually, uniquely, equally, and immensely.

My wonderful sister, whom I shared so many wonderful memories with. I will miss you always and trust that you will be MY Angel watching over all of us. Enjoyed our times together watching movies.
Love you sissy…
Harriet (Hair).
