Fern Nadyne Poeschl (nee Storm) of St. Louis, MO passed away peacefully on Jan 9, 2025, one week shy of turning 93.  Her loving husband of 65 years, Robert C. Poeschl, Sr., predeceased in 2020. Fern is survived by her doting daughters, Glenda Seldin (James) and Angela Jett (Robert). Her grandchildren Robert C. Poeschl, III (Emily), Krista Poeschl, Emily Seldin (James O’Connor), Grady Seldin, Courtney Westcott (Ricky) and Nicholas Poeschl. Great grandchildren Jorden, Ella, Riley, Teagan, Eisley, Brayden, Blakely and Beckett.  Fern is predeceased by her special sons, Robert C. Poeschl, Jr. and Brian C. Poeschl.

Fern loved her family fiercely and found the greatest joy in being with her family and celebrating their life events. She also loved being with, hearingstories about and seeing pictures of her great grandchildren. Fern was an extremely detail-oriented seamstress for 75 years. She carried her hardworking nature and patience to all aspects of her life – professionally and personally Her family would like to thank the caring staff at Allegro Senior LIving and BJC Hospice services, specifically nurse Donna, for their care the last few months. 

Services will be private. Memorial contributions to BJC Hospice, St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice appreciated. But most importantly, Mom would say, hug your family often and appreciate every moment you share.
