Frances Mavella Underwood

Frances Mavella Underwood 78 of St. Louis Missouri passed away Thursday Sept. 5th 2019 at Bethesda Dilworth Home in Kirkwood Mo.. Frances was born May 5th 1941 to Aaron Ray Johns and Geneva Irene Johns . On June 19 1965 she married Orville B Underwood at Corinith Baptist Church in Naylor Missouri. Mrs. Underwood is proceeded in death by her husband, parents, 3 sisters Artie Turner, Sarah Chipman, Patrica Pipkins and 3 brothers Earl Johns, David Johns and Everret Johns. Mrs. Underwood is survived by her daughters Iris M. Luebbert (the late Ken Luebbert) of St. Peter’s Missouri & Tina P. Yaeger of St. Louis Missouri , 5 grandchildren Brian (Christina) Onder, Brandy (Chris) Maibes, Brad Onder, Billy (Emma) Yaeger and Allen Lutz. 7 great grandchildren Zoe,Phoebe,Allysa,Brooklyn,Sydney,Lucas and Levi. 6 brothers Linzey (Edith) Johns, Bill Johns,Glen (Ruth) Johns, Anthony (Louise) Johns, Leroy Johns and Darrell (Rhonda) Johns and many Nieces & Nephews. Mrs. Underwood worked at Nestle for 35 years. After retirement she would asist with getting others to the doctors.She had a passion for helping those in need. Mrs. Underwood was a member of Calvary Fellowship Chruch in Fenton Missouri for 34 years.

Celebration of life for Mrs. Underwood will be at a later date,

    Iris and Tina, I’m so sorry for your loss. I love you both so much. The 4 sisters have finally been reunited. I remember talking to Aunt Mae at Aunt Trish funeral….she told me she was the only girl left, “ four sisters down to one”. She said that she loved her brothers, but that sisters were different. I completely understood that comment. If you need to talk, or cry, give me a call. Again….I love you both.????
