Frances Meyer Day passed away on September 11th, 2013 at the age of 92.

She was born in Webster Groves, Missouri on September 20th, 1920 to Anthony Frances and Ethel LaVerne (nee Leedy) Meyer.

She was preceded in death by her late husband of many years, the beloved Herbert J. Day. She is survived by her daughter Peggy (nee Day) Watterson; her son Jim Day and her son Bob Day. She was a proud grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a close friend to the late Joe Adlon.

In memory of Frances, a Celebration of Life will be held for her at her last residence, Friendship Village of Sunset Hills, in the Ballroom, on Sunday, September 15th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., 12505 Village Circle Dr., St. Louis, MO 63127. Frances, being a kind and practical soul, gifted her body to Washington University.

The family would like to thank the staff of Friendship Village and Pathways Hospice for the tender care that Helen received.
