Frank Shaw

August 17, 1939 – August 8, 2024

Frank Shaw of Saint Louis, Missouri, was born August 17, 1939, in Leslie, Missouri, a son of the late Oren and Mamie (Gray) Shaw. Frank departed this life Thursday, August 8, 2024, just nine days shy of his 85th birthday.

Frank was united in marriage to Claire Brook in 2005 in Burbank, California.  She survives him in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Frank is survived by two sons, Mike Shaw and wife Andrea Bauer-Shaw of Foristell, Missouri, Bryan Shaw and sweetheart Nancy Davis of Saint Louis, Missouri, two sisters, Lou Shaw of Bland, Missouri, Olla Swank of South Carolina, two brothers, Bobby Shaw and wife Loretta of Union, Missouri, Eldo Shaw and wife Virginia of Norfolk, Virginia, and 2 grandchildren, Brendan Shaw and Logan Shaw.

In addition to his parents, Frank was also preceded in death by two sisters, Faye Schmidt and Nellie Pulliam (Shaw), and five brothers, Walter Shaw, John Shaw, Leslie Shaw, Roy Shaw, and Joe Shaw.

Frank had a great love for his family, nature, and many friends. He worked his way up to number one pipefitter at Boeing after forty-two years.  He served his country in the Air Force.  The library of knowledge and wisdom that embodied him cannot be replaced.  He touched thousands of lives, and will be sorely missed.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the World Bird Sanctuary (https://www.worldbirdsanctuary.org/).

Frank was my bonus dad, and he will be greatly missed. We shared many deep laughs and stories. Those who met him realized quickly how he was such a genuine human with a vast knowledge of life. Rest in peace my great friend.
