Fred McMinn (78) of Fenton, MO., who was born on Sept 3rd, 1947 in Memphis, TN. to William Herchel McMinn and Genera Grace Inmon, passed away peacefully on June 2nd, 2025.

Fred was engaging, charismatic, had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh. More importantly, he was a loyal loving husband and friend.

Fred moved to Arkansas as a teenager to live with his grandparents, Mama John and Emmett Hubbard, to finish schooling. During this time, Fred became an excellent pool player; which he continued to enjoy throughout his life. When reality set in and he had to make a living, he chose working on a barge on the Mississippi River. The job on the Mississippi led to a career of working on pipe laying barges all over the world.

Fred is survived by his loving wife, Peggy, his sisters, Sherry Bumann and Susie Cudd. He also leaves behind his brother in laws, sister in law and niece Vence Bumann, Searcy Mears, Robert Mears, Donna Hart and Cyndy Schindler.

He was predeceased by his father, mother, brothers, Mac McMinn and Avery Cudd and grandparents Mama John and Emmett Hubbard.

Fred was a unique individual who led a very interesting and exciting life. He will be missed by all who knew him.
