Freddie Lee Johnson

Our beloved Freddie Lee Johnson was born on May 9, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri to Tom Johnson and Cordie Mae Johnson (nee Taylor). He grew to be a loyal, kind and caring person who loved helping people when he could. Freddie loved music and old westerns. As a teen he often recruited his friends for doo wop battles in the neighborhood, he always sang lead and always had to be David Ruffin. After serving his country, he returned to St. Louis and worked for the US Postal Service before joining Metro Bus Company as a bus driver, where he retired in 2011. In his down time, Freddie liked socializing with friends and getting together on the weekends with his brothers and their wives.
