I new George in high school and he married my best friend Paula. I will always remember his smile and his sense of humor. He would always inquire about my son whenever I would see him. I think of him as kind, generous and a good dad.
I know that he is in heaven and having a beer with Fred telling old stories. Go with God Geoge, you will be missed.

I’ve known George since high school. Got to know his wonderful friends and family over the years. George was always jovial and kind. Most recently he touched my heart when he befriended my cousin #SuperSteph who was in Barnes for an extended time due to complications from a double lung transplant in 2017. George sent her several cards throughout her stay and became FB friends with her. It really touched me he took the time to reach out to her and become one of her supporters. Now we can support his family as they grieve the loss of a wonderful man. R.I.P. George

I went to grade school with George at Seven Holy Founders. I only had a few chances to talk with George after grade school. Usually, when I was in for a visit.
I send my prayers and love to “Steff”, Jean,
    and George’s family and friends.
    Peace,
    Sr. Mary McDermott

I knew him well. I just learned of his passing. He was a great guy who loved life. We had not been in touch for a few years before his passing. Play the hand you are dealt. Rest in peace. Peace be with his family. He was too young to go.great soul. Denise.
