George Bruce Sladek (St. Louis, MO) born on October 1, 1956, passed away May 13, 2024 at Barnes Jewish Hospital. He is the son of George and Grace Sladek.

He is preceded by his sister, Karen Schmidt (St. Louis, Mo), and her husband Charles Schmidt (St. Louis, Mo), and their son Phillip Kohlmann

He is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years Betty Sandoval-Sladek, and her son James Robert Hill (St. Charles, Mo), and his wife Carrie Michelle Hill (St. Charles, Mo)

Grandchildren, Haley Michelle Hill (St. Charles, Mo), Ava Nicole Hill (St. Charles, Mo), and Evan James Hill (St. Charles, Mo)

George loved music and played the piano daily.  He wrote and published songs from a young age and continued that passion until his passing.  He and Betty were loyal St Louis Cardinal fans and season ticket holders for over twenty years.
