Gerald Gonthier

Gerald “Jerry” A. Gonthier, age 86 of St. Charles, Missouri. Raised in Duluth, Minnesota. Son of Ernest L and Mary Gonthier. Preceded in death by his brother Bob, Sister Pat, Brothers Richard, and Eugene. Survived by his wife, Theresa W. Gonthier, recently celebrating 67 years of marriage. They have four children, Greg (Carla), Yvette, Art (Annmarie) and Gerard (Tracey). Jerry has 10 grandchildren John, Mark, Missy, Mitchell, Nicole, Kyle, Trevor, Mallory, Kassidi and Devin. 9 great grandchildren, Stanley, Kenny, Ethan, Aedan, Teagan, Charlie, Kassie, Kalvin, Kylie, Kelsey and 1 great-great granddaughter, Amelia. Jerry is also survived by his best man and brother Joseph Gonthier (Patsy) and many nieces and nephews.

Jerry served in the United States Marine Corps from January of 1952 to January of 1955. He is a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as Grand Knight as well as a member of the 3rd and 4th degree. He was also a member of the San Bernardino Elks. Jerry worked in structural and fabricated steel. Jerry ushered for Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in San Bernardino, California. Jerry enjoyed coaching his wife’s women’s softball teams and his sons youth baseball teams.

    Love and prayers to Aunt Theresa and the entire Gonthier family. I’m happy to have had that visit with Uncle Jerry this summer. I know he knows how much he was loved and will be missed. Hugs !!!!!
