Gerald (Jerry) J. Neuner

Neuner, Gerald (Jerry) J. fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Friday, August 21, 2020, at the age of 89.

Jerry was the dear husband of Ruth Ann Neuner (nee Meyer) of 64 years; devoted father of Karen Rychlewski (John), Janet Frayne (Kyle); loving grandfather of Justin, Clay, Kyle (Kara), and Kevin; beloved son of the late George A. and Bernardine Neuner; dear brother of the late Rev. Donald, Robert and George K. (Jo Ann) Neuner; treasured uncle, cousin, teammate, and friend to many.

Jerry was a Korean war veteran and upon returning home met the love of his life, Ruth Ann. He enjoyed a career as a tooling engineer on the F-15 program and retired from Boeing/McDonnell Douglas in 1992. He then loved vacationing with friends and family, and above all, spending time with his grandsons.

Jerry was a man of many talents. He was a superb handyman who could fix or build anything. His hobbies included woodworking, running, reading, golf and ballroom dancing.

Jerry donated his body to St. Louis University with the hope of medical advancements to benefit future generations. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 29, 2020, at 10 am at Incarnate Word Parish, 13416 Olive Blvd, Chesterfield, MO 63017. Due to the current pandemic, masks and social distancing will be required.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution in Jerry’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association: Alzheimer’s Association | Donate to Fight Alzheimer’s Disease
