Geraldine Hopkins-Crenshaw was born January 3, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late John and Irma Harris. She held close to her heart her Great-Grandmother ” Big Momma”!

Geraldine attended a public school in Terry, Mississippi until she came back to Missouri and attended Soldan High School in S. Louis, Missouri.

Geraldine accepted Christ at an early are in Terry, Mississippi and attended House of Deliverance Pentecostal Church in St. Louis, Missouri in which she became a member.

In 1974 Geraldine Met the love of her life, Joe Willie Crenshaw Sr., in which he loved, cared and adored her when he first laid eyes on her. A short time later the two was joined together in holy matrimony and to that union 3 children was born, which her son Joe Willie Crenshaw, Jr. preceded her in death.

On May 27, 2015 Geraldine had fought a long and hard battle. During the last of her battle she then heard the words: “You have done well my child, your work here is now done. It is time for you to come home and be with me and my father in Heaven”!

Geraldine leaves behind to cherish her memories are her beloved husband Joe Willie Crenshaw, Sr.; grandmother Alberta Johnson; two daughters Shelita “Re-Re” Crenshaw and Germicia “Mesha” Crenshaw; two brothers Larry and Dean Hopkins; seven grandchildren, Jermaine Hicks, Jermond Hicks, Jasmine Reed, Jeremiah Crenshaw, Cortez Hubbard, Jayden Miller and Jayda Miller; two great-grandchildren Raileey Hicks and Aidyn Hicks; eight sister-in-laws, five brother-in-laws and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Service: Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Miracle Temple COGIC 4001 Jennings Station Road St. Louis, Missouri 63121, visitation 9:00 AM -10:00 AM with funeral service at 10:00 AM. Supt. T.J. Rodgers host pastors, Rev. Cliffton Crenshaw Officiating service.
