Oh how I love my Lange family. Geraldine was always so sweet and caring everytime I visited. She will be greatly missed. I’m happy to have known her and know that’s she’s smiling down from heaven, shaking her head at every one of Jerry’s jokes. ??

I will always remember the care packages sent to my son while he was in Iraq. That was such a gift and made me feel like a part of the Lange gang. I am sorry for the loss but happy she is at peace.

I met Gerry one weekend in 1987 when we all headed to Lake of the Ozarks. I learned right away she liked to eat (Julia Child said people who love food are the best people), she would dance alone if she didn’t have a partner, she didn’t gossip or like phony people, she was the perfect example of how a step-parent should be. They were never Jerry’s kids or Jerry’s grandkids they were her kids, her grandkids. I called her once to pick me up when I had a flat and no she didn’t give me a ride home, she changed my flat tire! I knew I had a friend for life. My favorite saying to Geraldine was “I don’t like this song” as she was always asking me to dance when the four of us would go listen to music. I will really miss that and her but I know I will be joining her someday because we both love Jesus! I pray her family’s memories of her are all happy ones but we all know when a song comes on at some time we will have a personal memory of her and shed a few tears but realize life goes on….. Geraldine you left the world a better place and we can all learn from that. Love you girl

I’ll always remember the day I got to meet Gerry on her trip to Cleveland. We were supposed to meet for lunch, and ended up spending the entire day together, and ended up at a club for dancing until almost midnight. Such a fabulous lady! My thoughts and prayers are with Jerry and the family.

    Dear Lange Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of Gerry from when Ann was a girl scout at Sacred Heart. She could always be counted on to help out with activities and events. She was fun to be around and very caring. I will be keeping you all in my prayers.
