Germaine loved studying and teaching scripture. She especially loved spending time of deep study in the Hebrew roots of her Christian faith . She loved sharing her faith. Listening and praying for others she encountered was part of her daily routine. She loved to collect and share books. She would often buy extras of her favorites to give them away hoping to bless someone. In her later years, she especially loved and adopted the people of Chick-fil-a in South County St. Louis, MO. She consistently shared the love of Jesus with them and with all those she encountered. She was also loved and was deeply loved by her extended family at Crosspoint Church. She especially loved the ladies of Thyme in the Garden. In countless ways, they provided the hands and the feet of Jesus to her and each other.
Germaine came to faith in Jesus through the ministry of Billy Graham. And because of her love for God she volunteered in a number of ways with that ministry over the years. To celebrate her life, donations can be made to Samaritan’s Purse which seeks to continue Graham’s ministry by following the example of Christ in helping those in need and proclaiming the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Money received will go to crisis response in Israel.
“It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning, great is thy faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23
