Glenn Allen Dolan

January 22, 1948 ~ August 2, 2025

Glenn A. Dolan, of Troy, MO, born January 22, 1948, joined our Heavenly Father after
a short illness on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the age of 77. Known for his warmth,
humor, and generosity, Glenn touched the lives of all who knew him.

Preceded in death by his first wife, Constance L. (née Gold) Dolan; his parents, Albert
Thomas Sr. and Wilma Lucille (née Stewart) Dolan; his in-laws, Luis and Maria Navalta,
and Daisy Lee and Jack Gold; his brother, Albert Dolan Jr.; his son-in-law, Kerry
Robideau; his grandson, Joe Robideau; and his nephew, Thomas Dolan.

Survived by his devoted wife, Rosita N. (née Navalta) Dolan;
his children: Glennda (Greg) Blackshear, Jackie (Roy) Ramey, and Aaron Dolan;
his stepchildren: Cathy (Terry) Mewes, Jennie (Jason) Howard, James (Nikki)
Machalek, Christine Machalek, and Ray Machalek.

Glenn was a proud grandfather to 15 grandchildren:
Emily (Chris) Ryckman, Alex (Kirsten) Blackshear, Olivia Blackshear, Ryan Ramey,
Megan Ramey, Shiloh Dolan, Savannah Dolan, Tony (Jamie) Robideau, Kayla (Ron)
Forsythe, Ellie (Eric) Ehlmann, Louis Pilliard, Dylan (Mollie) Machalek, Cody Machalek,
Addy Machalek, and Dennis Machalek.
He was also a loving great-grandfather to seven cherished great-grandchildren who
adored him.

He is also survived by his brother, Daniel (Janice) Dolan, and his sister, Sharon (Larry)
Wadsack — both of whom loved him dearly;
his nieces and nephews: Walter “Buzzy” (Evelyn) Toben, Christopher (Verglia “Vee”)
Toben, Michelle Dolan, Sean (Cindy) Dolan, Kristen (Dave) Keune, and Bobby (Katie)
Wadsack; and many beloved great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.

Born in Chillicothe, MO, Glenn later moved to St. Louis County and graduated from
Pattonville High School in 1966. He often reminisced about childhood adventures,
lifelong friendships, and cruising in his 1967 convertible Super Sport Camaro.

In 1967, he married his high school sweetheart, Connie, and they shared nearly 48
wonderful years until her passing in 2015. After her passing, Glenn was blessed to find
love again with Rosita later that same year, with whom he shared almost a decade of
marriage.

After graduating, Glenn began his career at McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) before
joining St. Louis Automatic Sprinkler Company as a sprinkler design engineer. Over 36
years (1967–2003), he became known for his precision and dedication, and after
retiring, he continued as an independent fire protection designer, taking great pride in
work that safeguarded lives and property.

An avid outdoorsman, Glenn enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and decorating for the
holidays. He loved attending Pattonville reunions — most recently his 50th with Rosita
— and treasured time spent with family. One of his greatest joys was riding through the
neighborhood on his scooter with his youngest grandchildren and great-grandchildren,
their laughter echoing beside him.

Glenn’s life was defined by his devotion to family, his generous spirit, and the countless
ways he made life brighter for those around him. His unwavering love and joyful spirit
will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
