Greg had a sharp wit and loved to laugh. You could find him at any time of the day cooking up a storm in the kitchen. He loved to cook for his longterm partner, Katie. Greg had a fierce love for animals, and had two dogs Nino and Bear that will miss him terribly.

Greg is survived by his lifelong parter and love of 14 years, Katie Eichenauer and their two dogs, Nino and Bear, by his grandparents Ray and Helen Killebrew, and Virginia Leighton. (Clyde Leighton, Jr. 1925-1998), by his mother Kim (Kerry) Lurtz, by his father Cary (Michelle) Leighton, and by his sisters, Sarah (Dave) Clancy, and Emma Leighton. He will also be lovingly remembered by his aunts and uncles; Tina Leighton, Michelle (Laura) Leighton in Atlanta, GA., Ken and Lori Killebrew, and Mike and Susan Neuner, by his cousins; Louis Killebrew, Eddie Neuner and Jake Neuner and by his nephews, Bentley and Harrison Clancy and by many friends and extended family.
