Harry E. Diggs
Harry E Diggs was born May 24, 1954 to the late Joseph Sr. and Luella Diggs in St Louis, Missouri. To this marriage four sons were born Joseph Jr., John Lewis, Harry Edward and George Thomas.
He accepted Christ into his life at an early age. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Sharon E. Diggs on Dec. 13, 1986 and through this union he gained two sons DeAndre(Allactia) and Cori Loving.
Harry was a HVAC Service Technician through Pipefitters Local 562 for 42 years. During those years he donated some of his time every year towards the Heats On Program, which helped seniors in the winter by going door to door to provide free furnace repairs and maintenance for elderly homeowners in need. Harry would help any pipefitter who had any questions about HVAC up until 5 weeks before he passed. He was not only a faithful loving husband, wonderful father and funny loving grandpa, but also a loved and well respected union brother throughout the country.
Harry departed this life June 20, 2025 and will be sadly missed by many. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and two older siblings. Harry will be desperately missed by the many lives he touched. His two sons; daughter-in-law Allactia; his grandchildren (DeAndre) Marquieth, LoNessa, KeAndre, Hubert, Justice, Jordyn, Camryn, (Cori) Jailah, Jadon, Ryane and Ava, 15 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
Will be missed by many. A great man who took the time with me and taught me so much. RIP Harry

I just love these pictures, it brings back a lot of memories. I left St. Louis in 1979 lived in Chicago for 25 years. I moved back to St Louis in 2003 and stayed until 2016. I am now in Murfreesboro TN I don’t believe we have never met. I would like to get to know you. Those pictures my God bring back memories. Sonny, Johnny my uncle Bobo. I just turned 77 in April with 15 great children.
I never got to meet Harry in person but we spoke often on the phone. Harry was such a wealth of experience and information on chillers. I would often call Harry and bounce ideas off of him regarding York and Carrier machinery. Harry will be missed. To his family, I am so sorry for your loss and hope he is at rest.

I first met Harry when I was hired on by York International around 1993 and we kept in touch until his passing. A wealth of knowledge in his field and he was always glad to help. He bailed me out on many occasions. His nickname at York was “solid state” and he owned it. Harry and I had lots of fun working out of town together.
To the Diggs family I am truly sorry for your loss. What a great friend he has been. I loved the video you have beautiful family.
Uncle Eddie will be missed. Jermaine and I will forever cherish the memories we have with him.
Harry was like my brother and loved him like one. He was smart, fun loving, caring, a good sense of humor and a loyal friend. He helped me often with my career and was unselfish about it. Couldn’t dance very well but never held that against him, just teased him about it whenever I could. A fine human being who will dearly missed. Condolences to the family. Rest in peace brother.
