Hazel Marie Evans

Hazel Marie Evans passed away unexpectedly at home on October 7th, 2013.

Hazel was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 14th, 1972 to her parents Verlin McAlpin and Bertha McAlpin.

She is survived by her mother Bertha; her beloved husband Willie Evans; her loving children Crystal Lee McAlpin, Jaren Michael Fergunson, and Amber Evans; her cherished grandchildren Chloe & Alexius McAlpin; her dear siblings Marsha Malady, Jay Hammett, Diane Leonard and Danielle Langston. She is now in heaven with her father-the late Verlin McAlpin and her brother-the late Michael Simmons.

A Celebration of Hazel’s Life will be held at the Prince of Peace Pentecostal Church on Saturday, October 12th, 2013 11-1pm. 2199 Forest Ave. St. Louis MO 63139 .

    My mother is in heaven peaceful no more pain. I love you so much and will always live my life to the fullest and hoping you will be looking after me and my kids. You will be greatly missed

    This really saddens me and at the same time like others you are no longer in misery!!! Hope your Family can hold on to the faith and find strength thru their morning of your loss! We had a few good times together( due to me mvng everywhere) memories made for sure!!! Fly high Hazel!!! Now may you R.I.P
