Heather Lynn Eagar
Heather Lynn Eagar of Edwardsville Illinois passed away on January 10, 2024 at the age of 48
after a five year struggle with cancer.
Heather was an amazing and wonderful wife, a loving and devoted mother, and an
accomplished entrepreneur.
Born in St. Louis MO, she graduated with honors from Pattonville High School and was a part of
the Dance Team. She then attended the American College in Atlanta where she also graduated
with honors.
In Atlanta, she went to work with Lovable company then with Vanity Fair, where she met and
later married her soulmate Eb. After a brief time in Winston-Salem NC they relocated to the St.
Louis area in Edwardsville Illinois. Together they raised two amazing sons, Aidan and Colton.
She enjoyed Cardinals baseball, football, both NFL and college, specifically Auburn. She also
loved nature and animals. One of her favorite activities was taking day hikes at nature preserves
and animal sanctuaries.
Heather was preceded in death by her mother Donna Moore. She is survived by her husband
Eb, their sons Aidan and Colton, her father Rick Moore, her sister and brother-in-law Cindy and
Joe Schuster, niece Sierra and nephew Zachary.

I am so very sad to hear of Heather’s passing. She was my big sister on the dance team in high school and we just clicked from day one. I will never forget her laugh or her beautiful smile! I’m so glad I was lucky enough to know her ❤️
I am so sorry that Heather’s life ended so tragically early. My deepest condolences to Eb, Aidan, Colton, her father, sister and other family and friends. Although I only met her a few times at Augustana, I felt that I got to know her more through stories that Elise shared from her visits to Edwardsville during school breaks to see Aidan. Elise shared stories of a loving family who enjoyed playing games (especially foosball!), making delicious meals (especially chicken schnitzel!), going out to fun dinners together (I recall hearing about a spot that made their own root beer), hanging out with their beloved dogs … and then there was that time Heather, Eb, Aidan and Elise all went to the Rammstein concert in Chicago last summer (I couldn’t believe that Eb and Heather wanted to see the band too!). I know that Heather was a wonderful mother – it takes so much love and dedication to home school your children, and I marvel that she did that and also was an entrepreneur. May she rest in peace, and may those who loved her take solace in their memories of happier days that they shared with her.
