    To my Ian,
I cannot believe you are gone – it wasn’t supposed to be like this. We were going to grow old together and get on each other’s nerves!
I miss you terribly – and words cannot express what I am feeling at this time.
You are my best friend for 38 years – my husband for 36 years – the father of our children – and the papa of 8 grandchildren!
That will never be taken away from you; nor the love I have for you.
What comforts me most – is – you are not in pain any longer. You are a admirable, strong, courageous, stubborn, loving, caring, intelligent, patient, kind, fun, funny, and loving man.
    Love always and forever,
    your Marina

Bless you, Ian. I cherish the memories of how kind you were to me as I grew up. The summer BBQs and get together that the group had made me feel like we were all a large family. I really feel like I lost an uncle and I am still having a hard time believing you have been called to heaven. Thank you for being a part of my childhood.

I wish Marina, your children, and your grandchildren so much comfort and love at this time.

    Rest peacefully.

To Ian, You were my rock when I worked at Pattonville. We sat next to each other for the 5 years I worked there. You supported me, calmed me and most of all made me laugh. The world lost a wonderful role model for look at how loved you are from family, friends and co-workers. To Marina and family, blessings during this difficult time. You can’t help but feel his loss but know you all were his world. He talked about each and every one of you daily. Much love from here in Florida. Beth????????????
