Isaac Fujimoto
Isaac Kazuto Fujimoto, age 18, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on September 2, 2026. Born on August 8, 2008, Isaac was a quiet, polite, and exceptionally bright young man whose gentle nature and loving spirit touched everyone around him.
An accomplished student and talented creative, Isaac excelled in languages, coding, and chess. He expressed his creativity through photography, drawing, and playing the piano. Isaac was also a dedicated athlete, earning a spot on his high school varsity cross-country team as a freshman. Beyond his personal achievements, he gave generously of his time to others, volunteering as a kindergarten teacher at the local Japanese language school.
Isaac is survived by his parents, Takashi Fujimoto and Cynthia D. West; his equally talented and loving brother, Elliot Shinobu Fujimoto; and his grandfather, Michael D. West. He will also be deeply missed and fondly remembered by a wide network of friends, classmates, teammates, and extended family.
An informal memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at:
