James F. Borst of Weldon Spring, MO passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2014 at the age of 80 years. Jim was survived by his devoted wife, Bonnie. He was the cherished father of Wendy Read (Bruce) of Goleta, CA, Heidi Borst of Oakland, CA, Jennnifer Walters (James) of Fenton, MO, and Stephanie Rutledge (Roger) of Florissant, MO. Brother of William Borst (Dorothy) of Gainesboro, Ga and Peter Borst (Liz) of Whitestone, NY. Beloved grandfather of Charlie, Ethan, and Cami Walters, Maxwell and Mason Borst, Samantha Loddeke, and Audrey Borst. Jim will be missed by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Jim’s favorite pastime was spending time with his children, grandchildren and volunteering at several zoos. By Jim’s request, there will be no viewing hours. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Friday morning, August 1, 2014, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Route 141, Fenton, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the St. Louis Zoo Tribute Fund, P.O.
