James Francis Bildner

James Bildner transitioned peacefully in his home on Friday morning, June 2, 2023. “Jim” or “Uncle Jimmy” as he was commonly known, was born in St. Louis on March 31, 1952. Jim will be remembered for his love of Cardinals baseball, Chevrolets, and Imo’s pizza. Jim had a great sense of humor, thoroughly enjoyed relaxing, and liked a nicely kept-lawn.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Michele Elaine (Kevin); son, Michael David (Aubrey); beloved grandchildren, Stella, Lucy, and Cyrus; sisters Mary and Janet; several nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. He joins the loved ones he lost, his daughter, Christine, and wife, Kevin Leigh (Williams). He was preceded in death by his parents, Nedra K. and Frank J., and siblings, “Bob”, Nancy, and “Jack”.

A celebration of life will be at 4 pm CT Friday, June 16th, at Veterans Tribute Park, Picnic Shelter #2 in Weldon Springs, MO, where family and friends will provide remarks promptly at 5 pm. St. Louis Cremation is entrusted with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Memoriam to Jim at the Mercy JFK Clinic for the Underserved in St. Louis, MO.

I’ll always remember how Jim and I first met. Before we ever knew each other we took a roadtrip to Knoxville, just he and I, to meet up with Chele when she started her Masters. We became fast friends after that trip…..

We had a good soul and a kind heart. I loved him like my own Dad…

    Rest peaceful my friend 🤍

Awe Cuz – now you can have that beer with Butch and my Mom “Nonnie”. I’m sure going to miss you my dear Cuz. I’ll always remember our softball games and just hanging out. Give my Mom a hug for me.

I’m so sorry Michelle and Michael – he was always so proud of you both!!!
