James Howell Featherston, Sr. of Brentwood, Mo passed away, Monday, October 4, 2021 at the at of 79. He is preceded in death by his parents Vernie and Lettie (Ewing) Featherston, his son, James Howell Featherston, Jr., and his Sister, Donna Featherston Timms.

A Veteran of the United States Army, he was a friend and was loved by many. He loved all sports, but particularly loved to be in the stands when his sons and grandchildren were on the court or field.

Jim is survived by his wife, Janita (Wescoat) of 58 years; brother, Bob (Judy) Featherston and Son, Jerry Featherston (Lisa); Daughter in Law Patti Featherston Wood; and his grandchildren; Amber Reynolds (Chris) Ashley Moore (Chad), Nicholas Featherston (Caitlin), Anna Castles (Bobby), Natalie Featherston and Trey Featherston; and great grandchildren; Carter Reynolds, Adeline Reynolds, Christopher Reynolds; Briley Reynolds and Kraiden Moore.

A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held on October 16, 2021 @ The Rock Church at 9125 Manchester Road, St. Missouri at 2 PM; reception immediately following.
