James ‘Jim’ Daniel Hearn, left this life July 26, 2023 surrounded by his loving family , in Saint Peters, Missouri.  Jim was born May 27, 1960 in St. Louis Missouri, to Thomas Patrick Hearn and Betty Jean Rion.  Jim enjoyed fishing and camping with his family, beating his wife at gin, and playing poker. Jim married the love of his life Maria P Lucia, March 2, 1984, together they had two children who he was very proud of.  He was blessed with two granddaughters who called him Pops to date.

Jim was preceded in death by his father Thomas Patrick Hearn, his in-laws Rosario John Lucia and Shirley Jean (Hess).

Survivors include his best friend and devoted wife Maria P (Lucia) Hearn, daughter Julie P (Hearn) Besselman (Justin), son Nicholas J Hearn (Anna), two granddaughters Josephine P and Vivienne J Besselman, mother Betty Jean (Rion), brothers Michael (Gail), Thomas (Ann), and John (Kerin) Hearn, brothers in law Michael (Jamey) and Anthony (Sue) Lucia, several nieces and nephews.

The Hearn family would like to thank Dr. A. Shetty his Dr. and friend. Also all the BJC home health care team especially Jamie his nurse, Tammy his aide and Jyoti his social worker. They were a blessing sent to help guide us through this difficult time and we will be eternally grateful to them for their love and support.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
