James Douglas “Jimmy” Gunnett

 

James Douglas “Jimmy” Gunnett, age 28 passed away on Tuesday Jan. 7th, 2020. Born Sept. 12th, 1991 in St. Louis, Mo., he was the son of Doug Gunnett and Cindy Helms. Jimmy was a tried and true Patriots fan. He was also a music lover and his love for music started at an early age. He was always willing to help others and always had a smile on his face. He was loved deeply and will be missed by many. He was employed at Imo’s Pizza in Webster Groves. He is survived by his parents, Doug and Cindy, brothers Brandon and Matt and nephew Kayden. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kristen, grandparents Doyle and Edith Gunnett and James and Evelyn Helms. He will be deeply missed by his uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Special thanks to Joe Stratton, owner of Imo’s who Jimmy looked to as a mentor and friend.

    I only met Jimmie once but he seemed to love life. He was energetic, laughing and seemed very happy. It’s tragic to lose someone so young and vibrant. Prayers go out to the Gunnett family for their loss. May peace find your hearts and gift you all with abundant love of God.
