James Joseph Steen
Passed away peacefully on May 14, 2012 and went to be with our Heavenly Father and other members of the family who preceded him in death.
Beloved husband of Karen. Dearest father of Marsha, Starla and Kelly. Proud grandfather of Joshua, Marianna, James, Timothy and Krystal. Dear great-grandfather of Alexia. Our dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great friend to many. He will be greatly missed.
In accordance with his wishes, private services will be held for him and his ashes will be buried in Arkansas.
“For dust thou art, and to dust shalt thou return.”
I love you dad and you will be missed. I’m glad when you passed you were in peace and no pain. Timothy and Krystal love you and will miss you bunches. I’m glad the 2 days before you passed away family was all around you and that those were 2 good days. I will miss you coming to my house and walking right in and I will miss talking to you. I know you are in a better place and no longer in pain, but it just dosen’t seem real. We will keep an eye on mom and make sure she’s ok. You be good up there Bud and we will miss you so much and we love you bunches, love Kelly Cowee your daughter Tim Cowee your son-in-law and Timothy and Krystal Cowee your grandchildren.

I can’t believe you are gone grandpa. I wish we had more time together. But I am thankful for the time we did have. You will be deeply missed. I want to thank u for everything that u have done for me and alexia it means a lot. We will never forget you. I will never forget all the great memories that we have. I will make sure alexia knows what a great person you were and how much you loved her. I will take care of grandma I promise. I really can’t believe you are gone. But I do know you are doing great in heven. Having bunches of fun with all who were waiting on you. Me and lex love you so so much. You will always live on in our hearts and memories.

Love you Grandpa! I’m happy that you are in a better place now and you don’t have to suffer anymore! You were such a great grandpa/father/husband that anyone could ever ask for! I would be very lucky if I ever got to be even half the man you were! Love you so much Grandpa, you will never be forgotten!!
