James L. Campbell passed away on February 23, 2014 in Arnold, Missouri at the age of 70.

James was born November 28, 1943 in Gilmer, Texas to the late T.J. and Gladys Campbell (recently Campbell-Hardin).

He was the beloved husband of Denise Campbell (nee Clark) and loving father of Kevin, Jarrett and Brandon and daughter Jamie. He was a proud grandfather of Caitlin, Hayden, Heather, Georgia, Aaron, Maggie, Raylan, Riley and soon-to-be-born Allison Grace, and step-grandfather of Austin and Hannah. He was the dear uncle of Shayne & Cindy Campbell and Keri Narramore MacDonald. James is also survived by his siblings, T. J. Campbell, Tom Campbell and Debbie Narramore.

James retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company after 25 years of service. He will be most remembered as someone who was always ready to lend a helpful hand to others.

A Memorial Service will be held for James on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the First Baptist Church – Midlothian with a reception following the ceremony.
