Will miss you my friend. I will be listening to Carry On Wayward Son and wearing tie-dye Friday in your honor. Remembering many funny stories and how you used to introduce our band back in the day as part of our entourage. My condolences to Carol and family. Wish I could be there.
Thanks for the memories JJ!
Sorry to hear about Jim, he was a good friend (even though I only saw him every now and then) and a great person. He will be missed!
So very very sorry for your family’s loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Carol and family:
Sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you.
Eternal rest grant unto Jim O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace, Amen.
Dear Carol and family, Jim was amazing, intelligent, kind, interesting, loving, and wonderful. I loved him very much. “Ripple in still water, where there is no pebble tossed, no wind to blow.” Every time I hear The Grateful Dead, I will remember him.
Our condolences to the Walker family. It makes me smile when I think back to Jim and his believing in Santa Claus until he was fairly old. He was working the system pretty good, getting gifts from Santa as well as Mom & Dad. I’m sure “Ferg” and Helen were on to him, but that is something that made the holiday special. R.I.P. Jim, you fought the good fight!
I’m unable to come to the service, Colleen, Carol and the rest of the family, you are in my thoughts! Love ya all, your father was a wonderful man. Kate messner
I sure will miss Jim, i have great memories of jim and i watching the girls play basketball up at school. Rest in piece Jim.
I went to HHS with Jim. We shared many classes together. We had to share a lab table in physics. He was always very smart but what I remember most was his sense of humor.May this dear sweet man rest in peace. I know he will be missed
My family and I send our deepest sympathy to the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
We are so very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. Our deepest sympathy for you Carol and all of the family. But we know that good music is jamming in heaven!
So sorry to hear this! Jim was a great guy! We have fond memories of being with him at concerts at Wildwood, Verizon Amphitheatre, Saint Charles and even a ghost tour of downtown Saint Louis. We will miss his smile and laughter. “Sometimes the light’s all shinin’ on me; Other times I can barely see. Lately it occurs to me, What a long, strange trip it’s been”. RIP my friend, Juan Clod & Yvonne Renz
Our sympathy to the entire Walker family! What a wonderful man Jim was. I remember him as such a supportive parent and as a coach of his daughers he was always so good to me. He fought his physical battles with such determination and positive attitude, we can all learn from him! Carol, Brendan, Ashley, and Colleen – you are in our thoughts and prayers. I’m sorry we will not be able to be at the service Friday as we will be out of town. May God keep you in his loving arms at this difficult time.
So Sorry for your loss. our thoughts and prayers with you all
