James (Jim) Victor Juergens Jr, 63, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at his home with family by his side. He was born December 17, 1959 to Robin and James Juergens Sr in St. Louis, MO. Jim married the love of his life, Tracy Lynn Juergens on February 12, 1983. Together they enjoyed 40 years of marriage. During those years they raised three children, sharing with them their love of sports, gardening, cooking, family, and friends. Jim enjoyed being an involved father, and an active community and Elks member.
Following his devoted years of raising children, Jim enjoyed coaching many athletes including his own children in the St. Clair community. Boone Valley Golf Club is where he spent his days making many friends and happy memories.
Jim grew up in St. Clair with his siblings: Gary, Scott, Bob, Patrick, and Robin. From helping his father at the family meat market to scoring the first touchdown on St Clairβs football field, he has always been a well-known face in the community. Jim and Tracy built their dream home in their hometown in 1997. They made their home a welcoming place for friends and family. Jim had a passion for hunting, fishing, a good whiskey, smoking meat, coaching, and spending
quality time with those he loved most.
Jim will be remembered as a loving husband, father, father-in law, Poppo, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to all that knew him. He is survived by his wife, Tracy; his children and their spouses, Michelle (Andrew), Michael (Katie), and Kyle (Meaghan); his bonus daughter, Emily; his grandchildren, Landree, Emory, Viviane, and Beau; his siblings, Robin (Sloane), Bob (Deana), Patrick (Allison); his bonus brother, Chris Keesey; his nieces and nephews, and many extended family members and great friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Juergens Sr and Robin Juergens; his siblings,
