James Warsaw

James A. (Jim) Warsaw, 77, passed away peacefully at home on March 7, 2026.

Jim was born in Bloomington, Illinois on April 18, 1948, the son of Ernest and Bette (Landau). They preceded him in death along with his first wife and brother-in-law. He married Susan (Smith) Hennenhoefer, June 1, 1996. He is survived by Susan, his children Rebecca and Thomas Warsaw, Michael (Diane) Hennenhoefer, and Sandra (Matthew) Milliken. Along with grandchildren, great granddaughters, brother and sisters in law, an aunt, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. Jim loved his family and thoroughly enjoyed attending the games and events they had.

He attended the University of Illinois and Illinois State where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree. After his service in the Army (71-74) in Germany, he returned to the states and began his career in sales.

Jim was an avid reader and a man of faith. He so enjoyed teaching Disciple Bible Study and the third grade Sunday school class. He enjoyed all sports and was proud that he missed only three home games of the Rams. Most of all he enjoyed golf. He played weekly and enjoyed many golf trips. If heaven has golf, he and his brother-in-law are catching a quick nine.

Join the family at his Celebration of Life, April 18th at Manchester United Methodist Church, 129 Woods Mill Rd. 63011. There will be a visitation at 11 AM. The Service will begin at 12 PM.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Guns ‘N Hoses – 9137 Darlene Drive – St. Louis 63123.
