I still and will always treasure our times together at KPLR. What a great boss and even greater friend. The practical jokes, golf, bowling and softball games were so much fun. I’ll always remember, “watch it! There’s butter on that knife!”

Jim was a 1970 Edwardsville High School classmate of mine. Sorry to hear of his passing. I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to his family. May he rest in peace.

Jim and I were great friends from Boy Scouts through High School and college at SIUE. We lived only a few blocks apart and spent many hours playing basketball in his drive, pool and ping pong at the U center, and softball in City League in Edwardsville. Though we had lost touch over the years I still count him as one of my dearest friends. May peace be with him and in the hearts of all his family.
