Jane Lee Tipton-Surles, age 81, of Des Peres Missouri , passed away peacefully on 09/11/2026, she born on 01/21/1945 in St. Louis to John and Josephine Tipton.

Jane lived her life for the people she loved, and there were many. From her large extended family to her many friends, Jane truly cared for everyone. Her daughter, Myrna and grandson Daniel were deeply loved. Jane’s brothers and sisters and all of their children were all very close. The Tipton family continues to be close-knit as they prosper and grow. Throughout her life Jane loved to travel and was an amazing cook. Children were her passion, and they gravitated to her. She was so much fun. Every one of them loved Aunt Jane. They always will.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents John and Josephine Tipton. Sisters Mary Hubacek (Rudy), Patricia McCulloch (Glenn), and brother Jack Tipton (Judy).

She is survived by her daughter Myrna McClune (Scott), grandson Daniel, her brothers William Tipton (Dixie) and Daniel Tipton (Karen), nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial will be held on 10/02/2026 at Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church, Ballwin Missouri beginning at 04:00 pm
