Janet Elizabeth Vogler (Pulliam)

On Tuesday, July 30, 2024, Janet, loving wife and mother passed away at the age of 78.

Janet was born on July 7, 1946, in Fredricktown, Missouri to Cecil & Juanita (Whitledge).

Janet graduated from Fox High School in 1964. On June 20, 1964, she married Clarence “Skip” Vogler. Together they raised one daughter, Lisa, and three sons, Mark, Greg & Robert.

Janet was an accomplished cake decorator. She created many beautiful cakes for friends and family members for various events and celebrations. She worked many years creating cakes and continued her career at Schnucks until she retired.

Janet enjoyed gardening and had a loving touch with flowers and plants. She prided herself on her gardening skills and spent many hours working in the yard. She also enjoyed traveling with her family and went to so many lovely places. She spoke many times over the years of the wonderful vacations that she and Skip were able to take together along with other family members. She was a loving dog mom to many dogs over the years, most recently to her precious Sadie. Janet was a member of First Baptist Church of Murphy and had a special love for the church and its members.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Skip” Vogler, her father, Cecil and her mother, Juanita, her brothers Mike Pulliam & Steve Pulliam. She is survived by her four children Lisa, Mark (Bambi), Greg, Robert, her grandchildren, Katelyn, Dylan and Mia and her sister Beverly (Bob) and brother, Randy (Doug). She was a loving sister, aunt, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and friend.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 24th, at First Baptist Church of Murphy in Fenton at 4:00 pm.
