Janet May Eck, nee White

Janet May Eck, nee White passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 6, 2025. She was born July 18, 1937 in Scunthorpe, England, UK and came to the United States in 1956.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman Aldrid and Gladys Edith White, along with her brothers and sisters.

Janet was the beloved mother of Elizabeth Campbell and Jennifer (Mitchell) Orzel, dear grammy of Collin, dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

She was an avid gardener and a florist for many years at St. John’s Florist.

Service will be private.

Donations to Lutheran Senior Services Hospice or Stray Rescue of St. Louis appreciated.

    What a beautiful person Jan was “ a lady in every sense of the word” she was a wonderful employee of mine at St. John flowers in Bellefontaine Neighbors and Bloomers florist in Florissant for over 30 years , but more importantly she was a friend for over 50 years ! All of us at the flower shops will never forget our friend that we affectionately called “Lovey”
